For two days, I was privileged to sit under the training and instruction of Dr. Vasant Lad at Bastyr University. He was teaching a new course on healing psychological trauma and I just knew I needed to be in that classroom.
For those who don’t know, Dr. Lad is an Ayurvedic physician, multi-published author, and professor and director of the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is considered by many to be the father of Ayurveda in the United States. Regardless of the status, his teaching style is engaging and full of creative illustrations, as you can see behind him on the white board!
Despite the long days that increase my back and neck pain considerably, I struggled through physically so I could learn the life-changing strategies for healing. So many pages of sketchnotes and audio recordings to capture and assimilate the teaching.
Now that I’ve “downloaded” the information into my brain, it’s time to process and digest it so that I can figure out what and how to implement in my own life and then share with others!
